Caitlyn righted herself on the seat and held on as the carriage rocked over the uneven road. She looked out the carriage window expecting to see the...
Part one was written last Halloween, and its taken me a year to get back to it and post part 2. I've added a link to part 1 here, and hope to post the final 2 parts before, or on, Halloween. https://www.abctales.com/story/penny4athought/spirt-sleepy-hollow-all-ha...

I’m sorry to hear about your trees; I’ve lost a few in storms too so I know how much it changes the landscape, and storms of that magnitude can be frightening. As for your poem, it hits the chord of humanity; picks at those who offer cold,...
It drew me in from the first line and I had to look up 'afrit', but it was worth it. The dark tone of this tale, for me, felt reminiscent of a Dickens tale. Is this a beginning of a longer story, or was it just a snippet of intrigue? Either way,...
Conflict eternal with man's inability to exist in peace, to leave ego out of the equation, talk as equals and allow for differences and feel the precious connection of humanity we share. Refuse hate and live and let live, that should be simple...
Those six cats are very lucky to have such a caring owner and for your kindness in making sure each one has a special treat, and doesn't lose out on it because they're slow to eat.
Just caught up with this brilliant story; it's so original. I'm glad you decided to continue it. I think Pat might be setting up a steal; Vanesa might not want to break out the pj's with her around. I cannot wait for the next post.
I felt the sinister vibe the moment you described the loan shark, but I didn’t see the twist to vampire. The scene in the alley was unexpected and you captured the palpable fear as he ran back to the diner. Excellent set up and characterization....
Okay. I am hooked...please, please...post more soon; I have to know what happens. Great orginality in this story. "Husband to go"... what an intriguing beginning too.
Love the hope and the light in the end of this poem. I believe there is always hope...there is always a light you can follow, if you look for it. Beautifully written.
A Beautiful morning unfolds in your poem. I too love the Summer day at sunrise and the quiet of an early morning. It was peacful walking through his poem with you. Thank you for sharing it.

So well said Luigi and in rhyme too! Very profound ending- wish the leaders on this planet could understand that and abide.
