So much you've taught me about the lilly of the valley in this poem.  Like Jane I'd never heard it called Eve's Tears. Such a pretty flower that I have'nt seen around for quite a while, so it was great to be reminded in your significant poem....

What a gorgous poem of new beginnings and bursting fourth in expectancy of what's to come.

I enjoyed the metaphor of self seeding and attention to detail too.

I can imagine the black bird watching crow and wanting to imitate, but no caw coming. The clouds grinning with white teeth, reminded me of scrying the cheshire cat in Alice In Wonderland.
