the life of trees is so astounding, how they communicate to me is mind blowing. Yes I agree that exposed roots are beautiful. I just love that earthy smell that you get sitting under a tree and sensing how the roots move. ...
It's amazing what nature can teach us. The struggles of the garden are similar to our own struggles in life. Nature can be beautiful, but it can also be cruel too, but that's just part of life in the end.

I knew a guy who travelled around India in the early 1970s, he was a real hippy and this reminded me of him.
