About an old chicken coop that occupies a place in my backyard. It's almost like a member of the family at this point.
It was like a lingering pandemic There was no escape from its presence We stretched our legs, muscles paralyzed in slumber Clutching to the hopes we were sleeping giants Underneath it all
She smiles with regret, reciting a solitary tale of heartache like so many other sirens before her.
She kind of reminded me of my sister…or a human version of Miss Piggy. She was sitting in the corner and weeping. I had no idea who she was.
You always said, no matter what happens, we'll have a good time. I never doubted you.
Sometimes, they’d come like a racing waterfall over mossy rocks, Flooding the spaces, Forming life or at the very least a bit of green.
