JAMES

James is a monologue for an audition. James is a black man, who is over seventy and has received a terminal prognosis. The brief is for him to be a be a family-loving man who is trying to maintain his independence and not be a burden on ohers.

SUCKER

This was written after a drunken challenge ( which I declined) to write a song in 24 hours. However, my brain would not leave the subject, 'Sucker', alone and this was done with four hours to spare.
