Errata: Fourteenth Episode - The Story I Told Nessa

The basic principle of Soliciting is this ' you call up whatever you can boss around. Lickspittle imps angling for promotion, Painsmiths, semi-sentient stuff like organs, tentacles, noxious mists, animals sometimes, Dwynes, Styxpigs, Wolfcopters¦ anything small, anything starved of attention and desperate for an innings in a coat of meat. There are bigger fish, of course ' 'personalities', if you will ' but it takes a certain force of character to keep them under control, and for the most part I prefer my insides to stay true to type, thanking you kindly. And then you find yourself in a pinch, and you wheel out the four-word affirmation that's dad to a trail of snapped necks and surprisingly grievous puncture wounds ' I can handle it.

Thirteenth Episode - Midnight At The Magic Bordello

So I'm upside-down packed against the wall behind a fold-away bed and I can feel broken mattress springs corkscrewing into my back and butt as Madame Kissinger asks Nessa Muertorella: 'But are you sure you're all right, my little streaming eye-wound? You look so frail, like a battleship made of parchment or something. Won't you let me bring you a cup of green tea to soothe your brittle nerves? No? Builders' tea then, two lumps and show it the spoon? Peppermint? Cinnamon? Ginseng? Fruits of the forest? No? How about sucking my piss through a straw with all your teeth missing? How's that grab you, you workshy slut?'

Errata: Twelfth Episode - End

Brahmini Jones found himself peering into a stack of interlocking blades reminiscent of a blender's complex mouthparts. He felt a faint jag of anticlimax. Then they began to spin.

Errata: Eleventh Episode - Deadlock On Doomsday Eve

'People please!' Delphine slammed her palms against the table. 'Let's focus on the situation at hand.' The next slide clicked into register. It depicted a roped Steinway dangling from a pulley with ominous ripeness; below, a jaunty cartoon fellow was sauntering into its shadow, hands in his pockets and his lips pursed in a whistle, a speechbubbled minim emanating from his mouth. The oblivious gent wore an oversized hat which read: ERRATA; written across the Steinway's lid were the words: MYSTERIOUS PROPHECY. 'This, noble people, is what we're up against.'

Errata: Tenth Episode - Trouble at the Top

The delivery troll scratched one of his nasal boils. 'Is it a present?' 'A present? A present? What is this game we're playing now? Did I ask you to start guessing?' 'A new mug?' 'No it is not a new mug.' 'A snowglobe?' 'Attempt anything approximating language in the next five minutes and I shall rip out your spine.'
