Another of life's mysteries. Here stuff gets draped over lamposts. So the shedder of clothing not only has to decide to go home without it, they have to climb up a lampost. I think our god of mischief is extremely demanding.

I do love a bit of dystopia, and this is an intriguing idea. And it honestly doesn't seem that far-fetched. 

I'd be interested to know what happened to the survivors (if any) at the end. Is this a one-off or will you follow up the narrator...
