I might have left it too late for the kenning I.P. and not sure I've got it right anyway as I think they should be more literal. But I was so taken up with the kenning idea that I thought I'd give it a go. Thanks for the idea and hope the I.P. keeps going.

There seem so many

There seem so many similarities between birth and death. I always find that comforting, to be honest. This is a beautiful poem.

Brilliant. It starts in one place and then goes somewhere I didn't expect and ends up with this terrible loneliness of the wild geese flying, but in that those last few words there's some feeling of stillness.

I'm definitely with the last stanza too. Some beautiful sense of continuity in those lines.  Maybe what makes them so effective is the almost matter of fact opening? A bit like keeping a log. It's obviously struck a chored, must be one of those...

This is intriguing which I'm not sure I've spelt right? And original. I like the structure, with the spaces in between. Loads of lovely descriptions, it wants to be read again. And the last two lines are great!
