I've spent my whole life trying to get home. Maybe it's a thing to do and not a place. I liked the constant flow of people at the beginning.Everyone on the move. Hope you are well.

I agree, this is clever. And how many of us, from whichever country or background, once we got onto the millionaire's boat would care less about the little boats, that moment of panic and survival gone? I wonder who the Queen aspires to be....

I like this more than the one of yours right next to it that got the cherry. I always feel I must try the uncherried ones because they may feel left out! I like the feeling of being in a pause but also knowing that things move on.

Great poem. I loved the coldest star line. It gives the great feeling of distance and unreachabiltiy]....oh I can't spell it and I'm not even sure if it's a word anyway! Unreachable will do. Propaganda in every country, I would say.

I confess I'm more of a dog than a cat person - unless they're Big cats! - but this is lovely. Effortlessly long sentences with interesting ideas like the ferry bit or the clock bit. And you've captured the rhythm of the cat's purring throughout...
