Hi Di,
This got my mouth watering. I really liked the juicy feel to it and also the phrase 'dullfull' when talking of less glamourous potatoes. A little gem !

Hi Jenny,
Lovely, wistful poem about getting older but still enjoying all the nature around you. Maybe you can't be as actively involved (all that digging) but you can still 'stand and stare' at the beauty of nature.

A lovely encomium to the hawthorn and economic too. I love the smell, it is so redolent of early summer! I remember it in hedgerows from aeons ago.
