Hi Di,

This got my mouth watering. I really liked the juicy feel to it and also the phrase 'dullfull' when talking of less glamourous potatoes. A little gem !

Hi Jenny,

It is very interesting to see your thought patterns down on paper. Some lovely phrases in this, too numerous to mention!

Hi,

This was such an engaging piece of prose with many nice touches. I think the foreign climes are often an inspiration and this story proved this!

Nice, nostalgic poem on the end of childhood. As always a well-written poem that is very evocative of times gone by.

Hi,

This is a lovely poem with marvellous language. And what is normal? I think we all know it doesn't really exist in this multifarious world where everything is heterogeneous.

Hi,

A lovely encomium to the hawthorn and economic too. I love the smell, it is so redolent of early summer! I remember it in hedgerows from aeons ago.
