Just love your descriptions

Just love your descriptions of the birds in your poem Di, it sounds like they have a real feast in your garden. It's nice to welcome our feathered friends and your enthusiasm shines through in this poem.
I've just been reading about these birds and their amazing nests. It's good to know that they are protected by folklore, but It's sad to think that it's association with witchcraft has so much fear linked to the hamerkop....
I just found this piece of writing. Being at home doesn't bother me at all, especially now both me and my partner are retired. I have my writing and reading, go for walks around the local streets with my partner and basically...
I'm always amazed at the amount of talented writers on abc tales and how they come up with constant new adventures. Where when I was young I loved to try out new things, now I'm a contented stay at home, enjoying writing poetry...

Lovely poem Ed.
I saw a family of manatees when we went down the everglades in Florida, we were so lucky because they're very shy creatures.
Thank you for sharing this tribute to a fine creature.

This poem draws the reader in to my favourite time of year, it's absolutely amazing and a poem I will come back and read again and again.
Love the mention of trees having conversations with the earth, this is something I connect with too...
