you describe a ghostly alien world of mystery. A creature that has adapted to its enviroment through the art of camourflage, which makes it very surprising to me that they don't live long and are easily hunted.

I love the idea of wands of branches meeting the wind, its blossom, a gift of light to the darkness of soil, then dressed in pale petals.

Love the idea of the moon being a communion,  a light pale wafer bestowed upon the perspective of night. What an amazing way to look at the moon.
