Inspiration point (IP)
This Week's Inspiration Point is to take any proverb and let it inspire a story or poem. Expecting cats killed by curiosity, chickens that have been counted prior to hatching, hands that feed you getting bitten, stitches in time and hot irons striking. I suspect it may have been an Inspiration Point in the past, but repetition is the mother of skill, as they say.

The Unsent Letter
I've been going through old untitled documents on my cloud and found this unsent letter to my next door neighbour whose noisy handy man (her little pet) polluted the air space with a very loud radio each weekend, drowning out the birds and other soothing sounds.
