The Angel of Mons - Chapter ten

Ten

Dave

Ever thought you knew someone, only to find you don't have the slightest clue? Those isolated pearls of wisdom from this man, leave me wanting more. The most gentle human being I have ever met.

The Way They Were

So many lonely miles apart.

Sands of Time

A poem

The Ways of Then

The ways of then ; the three roads crossed Fortuitous friend of the ebony strider Smiling with me for the feast and the pheasant Delicate flagon raised to the galleon

One Moment in Time

One moment in time we'll be plucking This consciousness from the strained air To feel twixt our fast palms an echo Pulsating and earthing lost years You whistle when you should be sucking

An Ode to a Joint

Standing in a damp, unlit field back to the road I fire you up: tonight, it's special just feels right, cool ya know Guess I was reeling from the alienage

My Broken Breath

So what happens now? Which way do I turn? One road leads me to you. But the other one leaves me alone. Neither choice is good. For while one has my heart whole It leaves my soul to die.
