My stories

Schoolgirl

What's the big deal with two more in front of my living room window...?

Don't Call Her First Lady

This is a song-poem. It's not about the First Couple in Washington, in case you wonder. The rhythm would be similar to that of Ray Charles' "Fool For Love" in case you want to compare.

O Father Hold Us Tightly

Tune: "O Little Town of Bethlehem" believe it or not. It's such a beautiful melody that it's a pity we are concerned with it only in December each year. Here are some lyrics that can be sung any time during the year. I'm fairly sure that non-Christmas lyrics have been written before for this song. They weren't mine, of course. :)

Every Day We Pierce Him

The tune for this little song is a Spanish tune called "Llaga", whose author, according to my Spanish hymnal, is anonymous. Llaga in English means open sore or wound. Nevertheless, I like the tune a lot and here are some English lyrics(mine, of course) if anyone would like to try them. Let me know if you do, please.
