"weaving lyrics...beating natures / pulse" which made me think of the flutter of wings being like a pulse and the flight-paths of birds being invisible veins in the heart of...
That's a lovely story :0) Apart from the Earthquake. Mariyka is a true heroine with such gumption! I imagine her happily dancing the nights away with her happy and hunky husband. Hopefully, if she cared so little for conventions that she sat on...
You taught me about the story, too. Those Greek gods were so tetchy!!! Hollyhocks were one of the first things I managed to grow - one grew as high as Mum's bedroom window :0) Now I like the single ones best though as bees can get inside
