Have you heard, they’ve closed the road. Black ice reflections deep, like a mirror from the archives. We don’t want to see ourselves like that. There...
Fog smothers your guiding lights. There’s a stirring sting of danger as you fly towards disordered planets. Dragging nothing, save the sparks of what...
It was slightly off-putting to hear Cece pacing around on the landing, going between her bedroom and the baby’s room. He tried to ignore her but for...

The man who tripped over his dog, the stale sandwiches and the, 'hardly any of this lot...' woman (I pictured Bett Lynch) and I felt all my blood turning grey as I read this. How can the utterly pointless prick you so hard? Emotional and...
Ha, ha, I can just see him in that curry house. I used to quite like him but it got boring. I don't think he's quite as angry as Jordan Peterson though.
A baptism of Biryani? Darwinian Dhansak must be his favourite.
This is my current dog walking captured beautifully. Everything is so thoroughly dripping, squelchy. 'Seep into musty earth'. Your words remind me that these sights and sounds are indeed nourishing, I'm inclined to moan about what feels like ...
'Dripping trees, soggy mulch, wan white sun' very evocative of my winter walk this morning. These dark mornings feel oppressive. The whirling whiteness across the Atlantic is frightening. I am grateful for some mild December temperatures.

Perfect little tale for the rabbit hole. I do need a break from Mentour Pilot and...
Thank you so much Di for remembering his name! I've been trying to write about him but I don't want to trivialise his many qualities. He was almost fifteen and I don't actually feel too sad, it's more that he was part of my confidence because he...
That made me laugh..a lot, especially the end, naked pictures from middle-aged people, wtaf. You're brave. Weatherspoons frozen peas. We've come so far since the creepy ads in the back of the local paper and it's even more cringe.
The fresh raw beauty can be an eye-watering burden, far more relaxing to fade into the seasons, especially with stars and moon to light the way. Magical poem Jenny.

Thank you Drew. He was such a beautiful boy. I dreamt about him last night, just a mundane dream but he is very much alive in my subconscious.
