I've been going through old untitled documents on my cloud and found this unsent letter to my next door neighbour whose noisy handy man (her little pet) polluted the air space with a very loud radio each weekend, drowning out the birds and other soothing sounds.

Ah I love this, brings back the memories of being a cat owned fool so vividly. I still miss mine too much to entertain getting another. It's a quiet, calming (mostly) and unique kind of companionship which you've summed up beautifully here.

Unusual poem, it works really well. As an admirer of moss I think you have done it justice, really love, 'moist micro city'. Moss is much underrated, close up, in the sunlight it's really beautiful.
