I have published four poetry collections entitled 'Idle Thoughts', 'Reflections', 'Poetry On Tap' and 'Cherry on Top'.  See http://gigipagano.wixsite.com/mysite for my latest poetry collection “Cherry on Top” and other publications.
My verses can be described as eclectic, that is to say they go from the sublime to the ridiculous but, I hope, always entertaining.

How could I have missed this

Posted on Sun, 15 Sep 2019

How could I have missed this gem, Di? I am now glad that it appeared on the front page and I was able to savour its brilliance. I concur with the fulsome praise that the poem has received and congratulate you on being awarded the double honours...

Hi JoAnne.

Hi JoAnne.
This lovely poem of yours has made me thinking. Since the fifth century BCE mentions have been made of the existence of a horse with one horn. Unless this animal was confused with the rhino, it is not beyond the realm of...

Oh, this is really good

Posted on Fri, 06 Sep 2019

Oh, this is really good Graham. I bet that Adam and Eve would have taken nudity in their stride but they would have been bemused by other aspects of modern behaviour and I wonder what they would have thought of the technology. It is nice to...

Fantastic read, full of

Posted on Tue, 03 Sep 2019

Fantastic read, full of originality and humour. I enjoyed it tremendously as I could visualise the board meeting and the self-importance of the directors talking utter drivel.
I wish I had come up with this idea. Bravo.

Best, Luigi...

Good morning Di.

Posted on Tue, 03 Sep 2019

Good morning Di.
I am not a bricklayer but in my younger days I was naive enough to believe that I could build a Spanish wall with three layers of breeze blocks on top of ordinary bricks and I actually did it. At this point you may suspect...

"We laughed and shared

Posted on Tue, 20 Aug 2019

"We laughed and shared conversation,
Discovering joy...both young and old
engaging with excitement joining in
the party of life."

How refreshing to read a poem full of joy and optimism as opposed to the air of gloom and...

Another impressive poem

Posted on Tue, 20 Aug 2019

Another impressive poem dealing with the reality of a life full of suffering and nagging doubts, when even faith oscillates between atheism and agnosticism. and hankering for a return to the innocence of the moment after birth.
An...

Hi Kevin, I understand

Posted on Sat, 10 Aug 2019

Hi Kevin, I understand perfectly what you say about the interpretation of a piece when the writer and performer are not the same person. I had poems of mine read by a friend and they sounded marvellous but with my rendition they came across as...

An assured and polished

An assured and polished rendition of uplifting thoughts, JoAnne. Well deserving of all the accolades.
I liked particularly the conversational tone.
I gathered that you are American, not so much from your accent but from your reference...
