you know we never had bank cards back then, so the cash you had would have to last. We lived on blackberries and mushrooms, but I recall we enjoyed bread rolls in St Ives, and on the way home we had a bag of chips each which was a real luxury......
I can't help but feel sickened at the destruction of so many trees. My stomach turns over at how some humans have such a disregard for the feelings of nature. Reminds me of the brutality inflicted on the rain forest.
'It's more than idle chirping going on.' Um! I wonder what the crows were converging to discuss? I think Martha and Perfidia are going to be suspicious of all these birds...I know I would be.

Your story parts always end with a gripping mystery...a real page turner, that makes me want to keep on reading.

An unusual poem that is most mysterious and curious. It makes me think of a symbolic diary entry known only to the Witch herself.
