Revolution
This was an assignment for class where we had to choose three random and unrelated facts and somehow make a poem out of them. I chose the population of Turkey, the scientific name of the polar bear, and the fact that a wildfire strengthens as it travels uphill. It turned into a politic piece which I am actually quite fond of, and this is a subject close to my heart because I am the granddaughter of a Turkish immigrant.
