Inspiration point (IP)
The first Christmas tree has gone up just over the road from me. The city where I live is clogged with eager visitors to The Christmas Market. I have my own views about Christmas starting in November, but each to their own. The Inspiration Point this week is: Anticipation.

I’ve got to give a bit of credit for the first line of this to the late Mr Patrick Kavanagh of 62 Pembroke Road, Dublin. It’s from his poem Canal Bank Walk , written in 1954.
