A perfect ghost story, really

I couldn't agree more with

Posted on Wed, 26 Jul 2023

I couldn't agree more with writing as a retreat and a way to harmonise, a release as in a cloud burst, only when you've got that flow though. We are so lucky to be able to express ourselves in words and understand each other albeit with many...

Thanks for reading Insert. I wonder if there was part of them that wanted Sandra to be eaten. On a serious note, there are a lot of dangerous dogs out there with irresponsible owners. A horror ending to the story could have been entertaining but...

A wonderful tribute to our native and very vigorous growing blackberry. I have so many memories of picking and also finding a little white grub inside after biting the top off. The grubs just disappear in the jamming process. Good old-fashioned...

This is such a lovely story, Paul. It conveys the unease of imminent retirement and the need for something to cling to and the cat was the perfect thing. I love the leaf exchange and the tentative first steps of their relationship.

The complexity of your child

Posted on Wed, 31 May 2023

The complexity of your child going through the complex layers of the teenage years, everything coming together. It's a rollercoaster which lasts perhaps longer than the teens but if he has an outlet or two, music, the drums, then there is some ...
