It's healthy to be reminded

Posted on Fri, 10 Jan 2025

It's healthy to be reminded of this now and again, in fact I feel sort of cleansed after reading it. The current clusterflunk of the developed world feels like nothing but a blip and nature always sorts us out, one way or another. I also see it...

I don't blame him, it was disrespectful to touch his wiring. It might give him several rows of teeth and an appetite for flesh.

Very funny throughout, Turlough and so colourful with character and intriquing detail. I enjoyed every entry. I too have wondered about the Hoover thing, we live not far from the Dyson headquarters now and I'm constantly saying that they make...

John Jones's client threw all

Posted on Tue, 24 Dec 2024

John Jones's client threw all of his academic credentials and belief systems into question. I imagined Kris, tall and skinny rather than the round figure of the archetypal Santa, overworked and relying on stimulants rather than good food. Maybe...

I love how your poem somehow

I love how your poem somehow shares a similar colourful momentum to this striking bird's performance. The ending is perfect, the whole piece, a fitting tribute to his extaordinary show and dedication to getting a mate.

Wonderful festive poem, Paul.

Wonderful festive poem, Paul. It makes me feel grateful for the traditions you've mentioned, especially at the darkest time of the year when we need a little something to cheer us up.

Who'd be a delivery driver, it must be a nightmare...
