What a beatuifully thought uot and written story. The details make it so believeable and the reader is anxious to find out what is going to happen. And the end sequence was again believeable. I really enjoyed reading it.
I don't think I was around to read these when they were published the first time. They are wonderful. Perhaps you could make them into a booklet and self-publish them. If you want my help in doing that, let me know.
Another very good poem for your collection of work on abused women. Have you thought of publishing it as a group? Or getting in touch with someone who would have contact with a woman's shelter who possibly publishes a newsletter or...

Nature is so lovely this time of year. I just took the first half mile walk that I have had recently and tried to take in all the new flowers and leaves on trees.
Thanks for taking me on a walk with you I think I remember skunk cabbages as being rather pretty - as so often are things that they are trying to get rid of.
