It's such a shame to hear so many of us didn't enjoy those years - some teachers shine out in my memory but they were few and far between. Why are we so rubbish at education?

When my youngest son was little, during a heatwave, I dug a very big hole in the garden and filled it with the hose. he still says The Mud Pit was the best thing ever - I had to hose him down before I let him back into the house though!
