Life is for the go getters. Pause and watch, open-mouthed as they gulp the here and now. Observe through a long lens, how they stuff themselves, like...
Have you heard, they’ve closed the road. Black ice reflections deep, like a mirror from the archives. We don’t want to see ourselves like that. There...
Fog smothers your guiding lights. There’s a stirring sting of danger as you fly towards disordered planets. Dragging nothing, save the sparks of what...

A beautiful and rich tribute

A beautiful and rich tribute to the first days of autumn. I really enjoyed the comparison with the sea, it's so clever, the rolling movement of the leaves and twigs in the wind is indeed like a shoal of fish. It's not quite fresh enough yet to...
This is so alive and yet so dreamy, a lucid dream illustrated. It makes we want to get outside and experience autumn, although it still feels like summer outside in the sunshine.
Hi Di_Hard, thank you for commenting. It's fascinating that orcas are more emotionally complex than humans, the human narcissist in me wonders how this is possible. Everything is getting so weird, I agree but perhaps it was ever thus. What I...
Reminds me of the sky I saw earlier, low rolling clouds, dark against the blue. I get the sense of something foreboding, it could be too late for a cure but we can only be optimistic. I really enjoyed the last verse, 'or maybe I'm a feathered...
The word wicked, derived from Wiccan. I can't see anything too wicked here from June, except sacrificing a chicken, something KFC do on a gargantuan scale daily.
I enjoyed reading Paul because it's well-written, very unique and I wanted...
Excellent descriptions of the tube, I can almost taste it. Looking forward to part two and what will become of June. Great Barr, I know it too well and Perry Barr too...
We are like sponges, constantly soaking it all in. It always amazes me how much very young children learn in their first years but as you've said here, we never stop developing and learning from experience of the world around us and others.
I don't want them to get caught but what a burden this is to have a dead body to get rid of. I can see why Uggly Puggly is down, he's the only capable person, but capable of anything.
This is very striking in its truth and somewhat depressing too. There is something really peculiar going on whereby we are constantly being informed about the destruction of the environment while being encouraged to partake in the overconsumption...

No-one get's double time

No-one gets double time anymore do they, more like half-time and make sure you get in done in half the time too.
This part of the story is creepy, please don't cut it short because creepy isn't easy to convey. There is something both...
