I have published four poetry collections entitled 'Idle Thoughts', 'Reflections', 'Poetry On Tap' and 'Cherry on Top'.  See http://gigipagano.wixsite.com/mysite for my latest poetry collection “Cherry on Top” and other publications.
My verses can be described as eclectic, that is to say they go from the sublime to the ridiculous but, I hope, always entertaining.

Posted on Tue, 20 Aug 2019

Another impressive poem dealing with the reality of a life full of suffering and nagging doubts, when even faith oscillates between atheism and agnosticism. and hankering for a return to the innocence of the moment after birth.
An...

Hi Kevin, I understand perfectly what you say about the interpretation of a piece when the writer and performer are not the same person. I had poems of mine read by a friend and they sounded marvellous but with my rendition they came across as...

An assured and polished rendition of uplifting thoughts, JoAnne. Well deserving of all the accolades.
I liked particularly the conversational tone.
I gathered that you are American, not so much from your accent but from your reference...

I wouldn't say that I am

Posted on Sat, 03 Aug 2019

I wouldn't say that I am completely reformed, onemorething. Although I have reluctantly agreed to the 'validity' of Autumn as an acceptable season, I hanker for the warmth of Summer perhaps because I come from a Mediterranean country.

Excellent metaphors

Posted on Wed, 31 Jul 2019

Excellent metaphors expressing the anxiety that some feel in not being able to immediately remember a particular word when writing poetry and the fear of it becoming a permanent impairment.

It was all in good fun, Di.

Posted on Sun, 12 May 2019

It was all in good fun, Di. No one took the contest seriously and everybody had a good time.
In retrospect the introduction of an 'interloper' in our team - even though irregular - might have been to our advantage as his presence may have...

It was a noble gesture on your part, Rhiannon, and you taught a valuable lesson to those girls. Good on you.
