Shrouds of silken webs

catch stars dribbling rays,

and:-

An eerie aura spawned by

phantoms...

It's interesting how the sea can conjure up the imagination to write poetry. I think you've summed up perfectly how dangerous it can be, but how wild and free also. I like the idea of the sea coughing up sand, salt and left...
