it's funny you should mention the painter, I tried to put brush to canvas the other day as I used to paint a lot and wanted to paint an Autumn scene which was the inspiration for this poem, but I just couldn't seem to get down...

A though provoking poem which captured my imagination.
You've built up the tension brilliantly in this part Richard. Sheldon's situation and how he's feeling really leaves the reader on edge...well! it left me anxious for the boy.
Oh dear! Poor Sheldon. I think getting lost anywhere is a nightmare and very scary, but now he's in big trouble having hurt himself badly and being alone too.
