I love how you bring Ella

I love how you bring Ella Fitzgerald's voice into the poem, that is a wonderful way to describe her voice. Like her voice this poem is so relaxing and unhurried, the words just flow so easily and left me with a calm feeling.
Hares live in such a fragile different world to us, I think you've incredible insight into these creatures in your poem, showing not only their courage, but also their acceptance for failure.
I was so looking forward to the next part of your story Penny, and you haven't disappointed. This little band of friends are certainly having an adventure they won't forget.
Brilliant! I also agree with airyfairy about getting it published...
I like how you speak of autumn like old age, because that's exactly what it represents to me. Those resting years when we can teach the young what we've learned from being a child through to mother hood and lead them with hope in their hearts....

We too have the same problem with our car mirrors, but my partner''s the driver and it doesn't seem to bother him so I just leave them alone.

Such a juicy poem Di, that sweet taste that leaves me wanting more.
Very much enjoyed this one Di. Those blackberries can be turned into so many puddings can't they?
