Brilliant news about 30th October! I am so glad you will have only a few more weeks, and not wait all through Winter, though serious amounts of fluid must be really painful. I do so hope you will be able to go out to feed your birds and speak...
yes, we had the boiler on last night :0) Enjoyed this, as always the Age old patterns of everything so well expressed, berries, tubers, leaves, the importance of warmth inside!
