[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series] Why did God take six days to create – the universe, its flowers and planets great? Why didn’t he do it instantaneously? I think he wanted us his plan to see … life’s chemistry’s designed by One now scorned

Day on the Heart of Wales Railway

Chugging along through the heart of Wales, one or two coaches hugging the rails … lush fertile fields, and soft hillsides surround, bridging bright rivers … After four hours journey, we’ll savour the sight of Singleton Park, and the sea and the sand, and return up the line by the evening light.

Nice to remember these family

Posted on Fri, 28 Mar 2014

Nice to remember these family and funny incidents. I feel all such malapropisms I've heard have comepletly gone from my mind, but maybe some will come back. I do remember one of my sons who was reading quite early asking, with bewilderment why...

A lovely crafted and

A lovely crafted and inspiring poem, Linda. I especially also like the first stanza with the description of the bustling crowd and the happy couples compared to the speaker's loneliness.

I did wonder in the 3rd stanza, 3rd line, whether...

You have managed to articulate so much, so clearly, so many feelings explained, carrying us right through the so difficult time, the emotions, and the coping. Rhiannon
