Thank you. It is easy to miss so much pleasant nature in the winter, but there is still much to notice, even in the bare twigs! My granddaughter walked in with one bit of cypress, and a dried up sweet chestnut fruit yesterday! Rhiannon

I'd missed seeing this, Jenny. air pockets catching senses is a lovely term for the little florets.

I think some find the scent overpowering indoors, but people differ. We used to have them growing in a special tall glass vase...
