It's a wonderfu description of the heat and the plants.

It is good that so much does survive, even if temporarily dying back. The problem is more of severe winter freezing in some places. Rhiannon

Thank you, Jenny. I do like our 'wildflower' lawns, as long as they don't get too out of control. The Cat's Ears did get a bit too thick and tall! I love the variety of flowers you can get in a small patch, and of leaf shapes, and different years...

Thanks. We were impressed with Springwatch this year focusing on the benefit of many in lockdown having the time and peace to notice, and enjoyment and distraction from little things in nature all around them. More sensitive to beauty and peace...
