Grasping fine strands of art is such a joyous encounter; not knowing if what we embrace is our true destiny or a brief moment, Who knows the order of...
In the late 1960s, or it could have been the early 1970s, infact it was so long ago, my memory's somewhat faded with time. I was about seventeen and...
Such wise words Rhiannon. We all need time alone occasionally, but it's good to have loved ones around, that communication that calms the spirit and shared happiness in times of feeling depressed, or just needing someone to listen.
Starry eyed Clare and Marni are now in their element, I would have gone so red with embarrassment if I'd been Marni, being wheeled away like that and all dressed up to the nines....
Oh dear! Poor Marni's in a right state. I hope she makes it to the loo, can't imagine the scene otherwise. Their plans are not going at all well. On the edge of my seat to know what happens next.
This was such a sad read and I'm so sorry to hear the news about your cat. It's never easy getting news like that, I know from my own past experience how much they become so much part of the family, it's like loosing a loved one. I really hope...
Wow! Jane this story is so good. I've now read all parts. It sounds like Marni and Clare are really tripping. Clare really made a mistake turning that hairdryer on didn't she?
How absolutely amazing to reach such an age. She sounds so young at heart and it's lovely she can recall those lines. This was such a treasure to read and it must have been such a joy to hear her sing.
It sounds like Maria is out of her comfort zone and desperate to return to her life in London. It must feel strange to be attending an Annual Dinner with Deborah, not being used to such smart occasions and being told she's too drab.
I haven't read all of this story, but this part grabbed my attention. Very true to life of two friends in conversation, almost reminded me of my own young days getting ready to go on a girlie night out.
I love your poem Richard, having those experiences and being able to write about them is so important. Living while your young has always been my formula for a good life.

It looks like Marni and Clare's plans have backfired. Jurgen seems to hold a lot of power and appears very confident.
Hope they'll be okay in one respect, yet I suppose it wouldn't be very exciting for the story.
Looking forward to...
