Hi Rhiannon,
you know I think Shakespeare was right when he said:- "If music be the food of love, play on give me excess of it." Most of my life has been filled with musical memories and I don't know where I would have been without them....
A great poem of this giant of a small insect. We can only wonder at its thoughts as it works to achieve the job in hand and wonder if it really does try to imagine the world beyond what it knows.
What an engaging story of love and fear of the terrible actions of the Nazis that Mary and her friends went through, but at least it had a happy ending.
It's always a great surprise when a piece of writing comes together and gives pleasure. How I feel when I've spent time working on a poem is very fulfiling and cheers me up.

What a lovely warm poem Rhiannon.
I love how the little stuffed dog brings a smile to the face of the lady in the photo.
I also could feel it in your poem too.
Thank you for sharing, put a smile on my face. ...

Just reading this gorgous

Just reading this gorgous poem Di reminds me of Autumn...as you know my favourite time of year.
I like how you write as if each thought and recollection has become a patchwork quilt of lovlness.
Really enjoyed reading this one....

I looked out for the eclipse
Posted on Sat, 11 Jan 2020
I looked out for the eclipse of the moon last night, but it didn't show much of an eclipse at all.
The moon was wonderfully spectacular to look at though, and shone very brightly with a beautiful aura.
I loved your poem describing a...

Thanks Luigi,
the one thing I do love about being older is the fact I'm a lot wiser.
I think in looks I've missed a generation, because I think I look so much like my gran and not much like my mum at all, though others may disagree...

An intimate look at nature

An intimate look at nature with all its ups and downs.
Just love the Willow tree and the way you describe its leaves as they droop, and how it talks to the moon in midnight mumurs of watery dreams.
Enjoyable read.
Jenny.

Your poem expresses so much

Your poem expresses so much of the beauty of this place in so few words Rhiannon.
Capturing a pleasant scenic walk as you always do.
