I love the natural feeling of this poem onemorething. There's nothing fancy about it, more a description of this is who I am and I'm beautiful, even with my flaws.
wouldn't it be great if we could bottle moments like this and uncork them at will? Years ago I would have been sat with you and the feline, but sadly now I cannot take the sun and stay in the shade.

I too thought this was read beautifully and heard the sound of Ash Trees most definitely.
We have two Ash trees in our garden, which give the most wonderful shade in summer as the sun glints between the leaves. The ants...
