Hi Rhiannon, Like insert when we first moved into our present house, the garden was heaving with the bindweed flowers like you show in the photo. Over about ten years we managed to get rid of most of it, by deep digging the roots out...I'm glad...
I so enjoyed this part of the story Jane. Couldn't help but smile as I pictured Spencer bopping up and down in the way that a toddler does when they first discover dancing. ...
Hi Turlough, you know with all the adventures and things you've achieved in your life, I definitely don't think your a lazy slob. This is the time in our lives when we have to slow down somewhat and cherish those memories we've made.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi Rhiannon,
you know even the mention of knives gives me the shivers and those poor defenceless youngsters never stood a chance.
I agree tthat society is losing a sense of awe and fear of wrongdoing. I'm just so sad for the fact...

Hi Rhiannon, such a beautiful flower and you've written such an apt poem to fit the Begonia.
I too loved the idea of the ballroom dresses, pink shades swirling. Reminds me of those young Victorian girls at the ball.

Fate can take many twists and turns, but in the end taking the plunge into life's great adventures is worth all the trepidation.
That third stanza reminds me of a sailor I once knew, he had a girl in every port and spent most of his money...

Dear Turlough,
your comment was a real tonic to read. I do hope that as you go into your seventies, you have good health and happiness, you deserve it.
I think a lot of my hip problems stem from doing too much physical fitness in...

You've conjured magic and suspense Penny. I like the originality that works as not only a story, but could be a cartoon too.
Great suspense at the end leaving me looking forward to more.
