Oh Jane, how I wish I could have shown this to the social workers who claimed I was deliberately restricting my son's diet. He suffered so much in care, being told to eat all sorts of things, having to hide them in his cheeks, and getting thin....

Forest fires sound very frightening, for all the smaller creatures, as well as for people. It makes it even worse that our only hope of stopping climate change is to plant more trees when the ones we do have are disappearing so fast. 40C is over...
