Love calls the Force, The Love that rocks the cradle, The Force hammers the rocks, The Force that breaks the waves. The Force drives the Pulse, The Pulse that beats the Rhythm,
Your children are not your children They are sons and daughters Longing for life Longing for itself. They come through you But not from you, They are with you Yet belong not to you.
rachel and ruth tamar and tempest thunder and tenacity six daughters six sisters but sweeter the day and sweeter the dream nearer the day and nearer the sea sweet oh as sweet
The firebird and firedove The dove of passion And the dove of love Dance the dance of flames Court in a ring of crazy fire For the love of life For a scarlet ribbon For a crimson caress.

Yes Richard, "somewhere they pause and remember" "generations of childhood". What would a porch be without a rocking chair? A witness from the cradle to the grave, a trusted friend.
I know some good ones too, a cowboy one, "played five aces, now playing harp". Here is one for an unknown british soldier simply, "he didn't keep his head down".
Not quite so funny yes it can actually really be very traumatic to board a train especially when you're a kid and on your own. Or a bus maybe and worst honestly is to board an airplane- overseas. Once I got so terrified on a bus in primary school...
This is very good Richard. Well written. There is gold rush here in SA at the moment, pieces of gold as big as bricks they say. People travel from far but of course it's pyrite it's fools gold it's worthless. Still, the hopefuls come.
Your typesetting ends up very small on my screen I can hardly read it. It's Ok. Good, but where does the "Sixty Year Search" come in? Are you telling of how terribly elusive happiness is? Or/and of the afterlife?

Indeed. They say one woman can bring a kingdom to it's knees. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.
A very good poem and it does make sense but I have to admit I don't understand all of it.

It doesn't make much sense to me Richard, all I can think is the after-midnight show. Heavy going. Anyway it's good.
