Miller

A film is in production based on the life of Lee Miller, fashion model and war photographer. It will be terrible, although it should be brilliant given the subject matter. Anyway, I wrote this: written quasi-ekphrastically about a number of Miller-taken photographs and one of Miller taken by someone else. Anyway, for once, I've explained one. Do you remember The Numskulls from The Beezer, revived in the Beano in the 90s I think? I'd grown out of comics by then. A very astute update of that, this one. Made me laugh out loud.

of this, the found and edited manuscript trope is a belter. Tropes are good, I find the idea that they aren't very annoying. They are semiotic markers, after all.
