I enjoyed this story, fluently written, but I'm left wanting to know why she was at the station with a car and chauffeur waiting and how they knew which hotel he was staying at in Edinburgh.

Good work Dougie. I think if we switched off all social media the world would slip back in time thirty or so years and leave us all feeling the better for it. Fountain pens, thank you letters and steam trains is about as far as I want to go.
