I am a Brummie living in North Somerset who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.

My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft.

Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .

I have work published by AlienBuddha Press, Loft Books, BlackBough Poems, DarkWinter Literary Magazine and Paragraph Planet.

"Now the Constitution is once again up for grabs,

Where will it all end?

Surely in tears."

More pertinent questions asked by rogue reporter Alfred Muggins. I don't know the answers but I look forward to the ongoing...

For this constant bond between sky and earth;'

Some wonderful lines in here, Jenny.

Thoughtful and articulate.

A lovely piece of work all round :)

All caught up again.

Ah...Cedric's character is taking shape and that metaphorical time bomb is ticking. Jeopardy makes a plot work and this sub-plot is humming.

The interactions in the story are credible and deftly done.

"When evening’s fiery Arab breeze

Blows away a crimson sun.."

A distant, evocative poem. Felt like I was right there.

You took me to foreign lands with this one and it's a beautifully crafted composition.

A pleasure to...

A poem as delicate as gossamer. Beautifully imagery captured with a deft touch.

Just lovely, Jenny :)

Trump is running the US like

Trump is running the US like a business, a corporate entity. He conducts himself as though he is in charge on 'The Apprentice'. It remains to be seen whether diplomacy and statesmanship can be achieved in this way. We'll find out, I guess..

There's a beauty in the underlying honesty of this poem. I can completely relate to it.

All caught up again. Cedric

All caught up again. Cedric is the 'grenade' and the reader is now waiting for the pin to come out.

The story rattles along nicely and another piece finishes before you realise you have only just started it.

It's looking great,...
