I am a Brummie living in Northampton who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.

My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft. Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .

I have work published by AlienBuddha Press, Loft Books, BlackBough Poems, DarkWinter Literary Magazine and Paragraph Planet.

"And that little ship is ourselves,
entire, enfolding all that’s gone.."

What a beautiful poem and the sentiments resonate with me completely.

Just gorgeous. Paul

"..Or I choke on foetid brumal dank

Give me daylight or I’ll scream!"

That's an evocative, powerful piece (the pic is quite terrifying).

Well deserved accolades, Turlough. Paul

I like the contrast between the madness on the roads and the serenity you seek. Some nice expressions in here. Very lovely, Jenny :)

Spencer's fear of mum made me

Posted on Fri, 08 Dec 2023

Spencer's fear of mum made me laugh. All internal threat indicators going off. (That used to happen to me with my mother-in-law. Escape was impossible)

Keep going with this Jane. It's building into something special :)
