Celandines sparkle when the sun shines:
brightest carpet of the spring.
Daffodils trumpet, loudly sing.
Scattered clumps intensely glow,
dance when the breezes blow.

Thanks. I'm always entranced at the carpets of celandines, so unnoticed until the sun shines and they all open out reflecting it. I passed such in a little garden recently, and realised such weren't planted but made such a display! Rhiannon

Thank you, Jenny. Well, we do have the beginning of spring with quite a lot of daffodils now, especially with the warm weather this week, but yes it encouages us that the full abundance is coming. It was a week ago, when still quite cold, but the sun was shining and I passed a garden with the 'celandine carpet' fully open to reflect the brightness It was lovely! Rhiannon
