This no nonsense rant sums
Posted on Thu, 07 Jan 2021
This no nonsense rant sums things up for most of us, I imagine, and is Pick of the Day. Roll on January 20th and maybe if there is any justice, some justice served up to Donald.
Oh, I feel very honoured. This is so lovely, Di. I love the idea of leaves as wings and worms as tongues before words - brilliant. Beautiful and uplifting. x
This is very sweet, Jenny, with some lovely lines - the moths, how warm air strokes darkness and the retraction of paws. Our relationships with animals are very precious. Rachel :)
Yes! Better get tippy-tapping then Drew - we want a monsoon, exotic birds, dancing frogs and flamingos amongst Saltburn's finest residents. I think it would revitalise their tourist trade following the plague. No pressure, but start immediately...
Perfect! Will look forward to the dancing frogs and rainy instalment in the chronicles of Saltburn. I think you should have exotic birds too. Perhaps an influx of them that terrifies the gulls.
I enjoyed this, and Part 1. Is there a Part 2? I couldn't find it. (Also as a Devon-born, cider-swilling pedant, I wonder if you mean Barnstaple rather than Barnstable? Or perhaps it's a fictional name.)

A very tranquil poem Jenny, and it made me think that your poems always convey a sense of peace and calm. Lovely. Rachel :)
