That last verse is particularly wonderful, Jenny, but the rest of it does such a brilliant job of conveying the sight and feel of the landscape, and its timelessness. It's so fascinating to think about whose footsteps we might be walking in....

I would have paid a good number of English pounds to see Jake do 'Copacabana'. Lovely audio, by the way. Delighted to hear your woofles is named after the Kinks song. Treasured memories of being unadvisably in the front row of one of their gigs...

I really wanted to cheer the courage shown in this. I've never been a fan of 'not speaking ill of the dead'. If it needs to be said, say it. Takes a lot of guts to do it at a family funeral.
