There is something delicate and wistful about this poem that I really liked. I thought the way you switched tenses back and forth made it interesting, too. I found I had to really think about that.
I think this works so well as a short story, but like scratch, I'd love to see it go on. It is hard hitting, but it made me want to cry that anyone could buy - 'if the price is right and they’re in good nick (them - then? ) I'll take...

Lovely piece of writing. I was quite moved by your thoughts. It made me think of how we have been able to form connections along a more spiritual line with people we've never physically met, but speak to by letters, or more recently, by email. ...
I like this poem because although it is an outpouring of emotion, which is a good thing, and something I have often found to be very helpful, you have taken the time and trouble to think carefully about the structure and rhyme...
I love this poem, too. I wish everyone in the world could read it, especially those who would / should see themselves in it. It should be filmed and shown between adverts on TV. And I'd love this to be the next poem of the week. Really well done...
