under the nod - great term, sums up so much. Great story, keep moving. Storey is the British spelling for housing. You've got story, if that's American English that's fine. Otherwise, have another look.

I'd ditch the first 3 paragrapsh, but the rest is the walk of life. yeh, I found it funny my mate's dad like Dire Straits. Dirge I thought. But I was never into music. Brooksy made of glass. Doomed. Dire, I know, but brilliant.

I hope the poor wee soul is in a good place. Her parents were middle-class and photogenic. That helped fire the media uproar. And as we know from many studies, they staying together is unusual. The guilt they carry, who but they know?
