Dear Jenny, this title of your inspirational poem hinting at passion and love has prompted me to write a piece about this flower in a different context. I always enjoy reading your delicate verses.
Dear Jenny, I concur with all the comments. It is indeed a beautiful poem and I'm sure you'll forgive me if I am so pedantic as to point out two very tiny things: I would add the article 'the' in front of moon in the first line and an apostrophe...

Thanks for bringing to my attention the name of Bruce Dawe who was unfamiliar to me. I shall endeavour to delve into his work. The only Australian I knew of and whose poetry appealed to me was Clive James.
