if you're looking for suggestions Harry - this is set in the USA right? If so, kettles aren't really a thing there - even more so in the past (am guessing because of the typewriter). Also 'nip, sip' etc - pull instead of nip?

What a lovely idea for the IP Rhiannon! I especially like this one, but the others are great too. This would make a lovely collection to read aloud to very small children. Do you know someone who could illustrate them?
